Job Description: Mandatory Requirements:• Minimum 7+ years of primary, hands-on PostgreSQL DBA experience
• PostgreSQL must be the candidate's core skill and primary area of expertise
• Strong experience in:
• PostgreSQL Architecture and Internals
• Backup and Recovery
• Performance Tuning and Query Optimization
• Production Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis
• PostgreSQL Patching, Upgrades, and Migrations
- High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions
- Solid experience in BSR, PGD/BDR, Barman, PEM, patching, upgrades, and production support
- Strong enterprise-level PostgreSQL Infrastructure Administration experience
Mandatory Technology Experience:• Hands-on experience with both BSR (Streaming Replication) and PGD/BDR clusters
• Strong experience with Barman backup administration and recovery procedures
• Good working knowledge of PEM for monitoring and database administration
• Proven experience performing major/minor version upgrades, patching activities, and cluster maintenance
• Experience handling production incidents, failovers, replication issues, and cluster synchronization issues
Infrastructure & Operational Experience:• Strong Linux administration skills
• Experience supporting large-scale production PostgreSQL environments
• Operational support experience, including change management, maintenance activities, and automation
• Scripting experience (Shell/Python preferred)
