Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and oversight for a portfolio of residential communities throughout the greater Madison area.
Drive property performance by implementing strategies that improve occupancy, resident retention, operational efficiency, and asset value.
Ensure compliance with company policies, owner objectives, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, investors, vendors, and key stakeholders while serving as the primary escalation point for ownership concerns.
Present financial results and recommendations to ownership groups, and oversee budgets, forecasts, financial statements, and key performance metrics.
Analyze revenue, expenses, variances, and portfolio performance to ensure financial goals are achieved.
Lead, coach, and develop Property Managers and site teams through performance management, training, onboarding, and succession planning.
Conduct regular property inspections and portfolio reviews to ensure high standards for maintenance, curb appeal, and resident experience.
Partner with maintenance and operations teams to oversee capital projects, renovations, preventative maintenance programs, and value-add initiatives.
Support portfolio growth and operational excellence through vendor management, new community onboarding, process improvements, and the development of company policies and best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive property management experience required; 10+ years preferred.
