Full Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to help expand our Equity Capital Markets (ECM) investment strategy across the Americas region. The position combines direct P&L responsibility (ECM and aftermarket opportunities mandate) and entrepreneurial tasks related to branding and positioning of the franchise. The successful candidate will be responsible for broadening and strengthening key-stakeholder relationships, leading our live ECM deal interactions, building the ECM investment pipeline, and driving the build-out of our Americas (US, CA, LatAm) ECM investment franchise in close coordination with the global ECM investment team.

What you will do in this role:
  • Manage day-to-day ECM agenda engagement
  • Lead live deal engagement and market sounding procedures
  • Execute on aftermarket opportunities
  • Build-out key stakeholder relationships with private equity sponsors, advisors, corporates, state entities, and others.
  • Maintain regular dialogue with equity syndicate desks across the region
  • Build-out key stakeholder relationships with private equity sponsors, advisors, corporates, state entities, and others.
  • Help build our ECM investment pipeline through private company engagements
  • Position DRW as a top-tier ECM investor in the Americas region
  • Expand non-standard transaction activity (increase participation in bilateral trades, club deals, and other bespoke ECM transactions)


Requirements:
  • We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to help expand our Equity Capital Markets (ECM) investment strategy across the Americas (US, CA, LatAm) region. This is a hands-on, revenue-generating role that combines risk-taking responsibilities as part of a regional ECM investment mandate with business and relationship development responsibilities.
  • The position carries P&L responsibility within DRW ECM investment strategy mandate, including aftermarket opportunities.
  • Our strategy centers on in depth fundamental analysis in an ECM and general event context (Spin-offs, private/public, listing migrations, other non-M&A events, etc.) and an unconstrained duration framework.

The annual base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $250,000 depending on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and relevant skill set. The position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
