This is an opportunity for a motivated policing professional to make a broader impact beyond frontline operations. You'll help strengthen operational readiness, build connections across the policing community, and contribute to the development of future recruits and members, with the opportunity to take on a greater role in recruit training over time.

• Maintain accurate training records, certifications, qualifications, and recertification requirements to support compliance and operational readiness.
• Contribute to annual training budgets and professional development planning in collaboration with the Office of the Chief.
• Support the Field Training Officer (FTO) program and, as the role evolves, take on greater responsibility for recruit orientation and training.
• Monitor recruit progress, maintain program documentation, and work with recruits, Field Training Officers, and supervisors to support development and continuous improvement.
• Provide guidance to members and supervisors on training requirements, learning opportunities, and professional development.
• Communicate new policies, procedures, and processes through briefings, presentations, and educational sessions.

• A motivated, proactive approach to identifying training needs, developing practical learning solutions, and improving programs over time.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple training programs, manage competing priorities, and maintain accurate records.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare training materials, reports, procedures, and presentations for diverse audiences.
• The ability to exercise sound judgment, discretion, and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
