We are seeking a
Podiatrist to join our clinical team. This role is responsible for providing comprehensive medical and surgical care for patients with conditions affecting the feet and lower extremities. The ideal candidate is compassionate, patient-focused, and committed to delivering high-quality care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
The Podiatrist works closely with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to support positive patient outcomes and enhance quality of life for the individuals we serve.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnoses diseases and deformities of the foot using medical histories, physical examinations, x-rays, and laboratory test results.
- Treats bone, muscle, and joint disorders affecting the feet.
- Treats conditions such as corns, calluses, ingrown nails, tumors, shortened tendons, bunions, cysts, and abscesses by surgical methods.
- Prescribes medications, corrective devices, physical therapy, or surgery.
- Advises patients about treatments and foot care techniques necessary for prevention of future problems.
QualificationsEducation Required:- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited podiatric medical school
- Current New York State license and registration as a Podiatrist
- Board certification in Podiatry
Experience Required: - At least 2 year(s) of job related experience
Preferred- Job experience as a Podiatrist
- Additional training and experience with the developmentally disabled population

Compensation Range:$82.00 - $92.00
