As a Plumbing Surveyor Field Supervisor at PM2CM, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating plumbing surveying activities on construction projects. Your role will involve working closely with project managers, construction teams, and clients to ensure accuracy and compliance with plumbing regulations and design specifications.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise a team of plumbing surveyors in conducting on-site inspections and surveys to verify plumbing installations comply with regulations and design specifications
  • Review plumbing design plans and specifications to ensure accuracy and provide feedback to project managers and design teams
  • Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to establish project timelines and schedules for plumbing surveying activities
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues or concerns related to plumbing installations
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders, such as subcontractors and regulatory agencies, to ensure compliance with plumbing codes and regulations
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation on plumbing survey findings, including any non-compliance issues and recommended corrective actions
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams regarding plumbing design requirements and installation best practices
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in plumbing technology and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices are implemented on projects

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field ((Candidates without a bachelor's degree must have at least 10 years of experience. Four of the ten years of experience may be substituted for the required degree on a year-for-year basis))
  • Proven experience in plumbing surveying, preferably in a construction management or consulting environment
  • Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes, regulations, and design requirements
  • Excellent leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively
  • Proficient in using plumbing surveying tools and equipment, such as laser levels and measuring devices
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify and address plumbing installation issues promptly
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
