Plant Manager We have an immediate opening for a Plant Manager. We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a desire to work for a fast-paced, corporate organization that has a solid background in Accounting Principles, Customer Service, Human Resources, Logistics, and Overall Management. The job requires a 'roll-up your sleeves attitude', along with exceptional customer service, leadership, and organizational skills.
The Plant Manager is responsible for the overall Management of the following Plant Activities: Dispatch & Operations, Inventory Control, Personnel, Property, and Warehouse Overall Management, among other duties.
The job responsibilities for this position include the following areas: Accounts Payable- Overall management/assistance of all branch credit card reconciliation activities
- Overall management of all plant bill payment activities
- Overall management of all purchase order requests
Accounts Receivable - Overall management/backup of processing of all OTC lubricant & package goods invoices
Administration - Overall management/assistance/backup of all filing activities
- Overall management/assistance/backup of all shipping activities
Customer Service - Overall management/backup of entering sales orders in SkyBitz SMARTLynx
- Overall management/backup of updating customer/ship-to contact information and notes
- Overall management/backup of sending new customer setup requests to Credit Dept.
- Overall management/backup of answering phones and responding to Dispatch Emails
Human Resources - Overall management of personnel scheduling (work week, weekends, vacations)
- Coordinating personnel hiring/firing with Human Resources
- Coordinating personnel pay scale concerns with Human Resources
- Coordinating personnel compliance (DOT Physicals, drug tests, hours of service)
Inventory Overall Management- Overall management/assistance of Warehouse inventory maintenance activities (as needed)
- Overall management/assistance of Blending Bulk Product for packaging activities (as needed)
- Overall management of entering bulk conversion package goods into inventory (as needed)
- Overall management/assistance of physical count (as needed)
- Overall management/assistance of receipt of goods (as needed)
- Overall management/assistance of product research/cross reference (as needed)
- Overall management/2nd backup of product staging for lubricant truck delivery
- Overall management/2nd backup ol Loading/unloading product
- Overall management/2nd backup of return to stock of undelivered lubricant bulk and package goods product
- Overall management/2nd backup of inventory stocking - storing newly received items
Maintenance- Overall management of truck maintenance (certifications, inspections, PM cycles, parts ordering & pickup, repairs)
- Overall management of Load Rack Maintenance (certifications, inspections, parts ordering & pickup, repairs)
Operations- Overall management of all SkyBitz SMARTLynx dispatching activities (DEF, fuel, & lubricants) - Both Day & Night Operations
- Overall management of all driver reconciliation activities (Fuel & Lubricants)
- Overall management of all DVIR reconciliation activities (Fuel & Lubricants)
Property Overall Management- Overall management of keeping the office, Warehouse and yard clean, organized and safe
Safety- Overall management of compliance of Plant Personnel and Property Safety Protocols
Sales - Overall management/assistance/backup of OTC sales - rack fueling & small Qty. fuel and lubricant purchases
Special Projects- Overall Management of Special Projects (as needed)
Support- Overall management/assistance/backup of Dispatch calls & Driver issues
Job RequirementsThe required skills for this position are:

- Ability to multi-task as this position requires working independently and requires the ability to prioritize workload
- Prior Supervisory experience
- Stable work history
