Plant 3D Designer
Location: Simi Valley, CA - (3 days onsite/week)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary range around $85k

We are seeking an AutoCAD Plant 3D Designer with 3-5 years of experience to join our design team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Plant 3D, preferably in pipeline design and as-built projects, and be comfortable developing piping models, isometrics, and construction drawings.

Required Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated proficiency with AutoCAD Plant 3D, including 3D plant modeling and piping design.
  • Basic working knowledge of Civil 3D and the ability to coordinate with civil/site design information.
  • Design experience in at least one of the following: Civil, Structural, Instrumentation, Electrical, Piping, Mechanical, or Architectural
  • Strong knowledge of discipline-specific design principles, industry codes, and engineering standards
  • Advanced experience with design/visualization software such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, PDS, AVEVA E3D, or equivalent
  • Ability to interpret and apply company procedures, specifications, and regulatory requirements
  • Strong understanding of document control and drawing management systems
  • Experience with laser scanning software such as LFM or similar
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal day-to-day supervision.
  • Highly detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Efficient and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
  • Strong computer skills, including file management, cloud-based collaboration, and learning new software tools.
