Domain Architect will establish and lead the architecture practice for the Planning and Procurement portfolio. This role is responsible for defining how architecture is performed across the portfolio, including methods, standards, templates, governance, and reusable artifacts. The Domain Architect will ensure business strategy, portfolio priorities, product management, and delivery execution are supported by clear business, process, data, application, integration, and technology architecture.
What you will do:Architecture Practice Leadership
- Stand up and mature the architecture practice for the portfolio
- Define the architecture operating model, methods, standards, and governance
- Establish the artifacts framework, including documentation templates and modeling standards for architecture deliverables
- Coach architects, analysts, and delivery teams on how to apply architecture methods and standards
Business and Portfolio Architecture
- Translate business strategy, value streams, and capability needs into architecture views, target states and roadmaps
- Develop and maintain business capability maps, value stream alignment, and capability-to-technology mappings
- Partner with portfolio leadership, product analysts, and business stakeholders to shape initiatives and roadmap options
- Support portfolio prioritization by identifying architectural dependencies, risks, constraints, and opportunities
Architecture Artifacts and Target State Definition
- Lead development of current-state and target-state architecture views across the domain
Define and maintain:
- Application and Integration architectures
- Identify standard patterns, reusable services, and rationalization opportunities
- Drive technology simplification and alignment to target-state architecture
Technology Strategy
- Work within portfolio management to improve lifecycle, health, and modernization decisions for technologies in the portfolio
- Assess strategic fit of existing technologies against business capabilities and future-state needs
- Identify duplication, technical debt, integration complexity, and product risks
What you will bring:Required Experience (7-10 years)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Experience with mid to large size enterprises with complex ecosystems including integrating with both SaaS and On-premise solutions
- Experience with ERP-centric environments, preferably Oracle ecosystems and adjacent enterprise platforms
- Experience developing architecture artifacts across business, process, data, application, and integration domains
- Experience defining architecture standards, reference architectures, and reusable design patterns
- Experience governing architecture across multiple initiatives and teams
Preferred Experience (5-10 years)
- Experience supporting Procurement, Supply Chain, SIOP, Demand Management, Materials, Planning, or related domains
- Experience with Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud, planning applications, integrations, APIs, and modern architecture approaches
- Experience establishing an architecture practice where one did not previously exist
- Experience with capability mapping, value stream analysis, and product lifecycle management
Certifications (Optional)
- TOGAF, DODAF, FEAF, Zachman or Open CA
- Cloud and/or Solutions Architect certifications from AWS, Microsoft, Google or Oracle
