Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed baseline schedules using Critical Path Method (CPM).
  • Participate in planning and responding to RFP documents in project pursuits.
  • Create and update preliminary master schedules before project initiation.
  • Evaluate construction progress with regular updates and health report preparation.
  • Maintain the master schedule integrity and document impacts of work performed on schedule.
  • Contribute to a database of construction productivity rates and project risk.
  • Incorporate unplanned events into the project schedule to assess impacts.

Full Job Description
You as a Planner and Scheduler for our Building Group will:
  • Develop a full Critical Path Method (CPM) logic generated baseline schedules for projects.
  • Participate in the planning and schedule preparation process during pursuits and respond to RFP documents in projects.
  • Prior to project start, create and revise preliminary master schedules and proposal for Operations detailing the sequence of all work to be performed to ensure schedule is realistic and competitive
  • Evaluate construction progress and perform regular progress updates (bi-weekly or monthly) and prepare the reports for evaluation of the schedule health. Maintain the integrity of the master schedule for each project and identify and record the impact of work performed according to the schedule. Prepare and maintain the project schedule log on a regular basis.
  • Participate in developing and maintaining a database of construction productivity rates, procurement durations, lead times and project risk items
  • Identify unplanned events (new changes/ unforeseen conditions) and incorporate their impacts into the schedule
  • Develop as-built versus as-planned schedules to provide a manageable "snapshot" comparison of the project schedule.

  • The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $130,000
