Position SummaryThe Administrative Planner serves in a strategic planning and operational support role for the Vice Chancellor (VC) and reports directly to and works closely with the Vice Chancellor for Enterprise Physical Operations (EPO). This position is vital in supporting the efficient and effective delivery of the Vice Chancellor's organizational vision, strategic objectives, and business goals. The Administrative Planner will support the Vice Chancellor on policy, procedural, and operational issues. The Administrative Planner will plan, cultivate, and coordinate strategic internal and external partnerships. Additionally, the Administrative Planner will liaise between divisional and inter-divisional administrators, campus officials, and external constituents as assigned by the VC of EPO.
Job DescriptionPrimary Duties & Responsibilities: - Provides preliminary and conceptual planning and programming as well as estimating facilities projects of a complex nature, including coordinating the space and physical planning for Enterprise facilities as well as development of space plans to accommodate staffing and business requirements.
- Leads design of databases for modules and/or projects, monitoring progress to ensure timely completion of deliverables; analyzes data related to space utilization, productivity, efficiencies and cost/time estimates.
- Helps determine appropriate technical solutions and makes relevant recommendations or implements internally.
- Works closely with Enterprise project personnel and other members of the team to develop detailed specifications, documents, and supports clear project deliverables and timelines.
- Works with clients, project managers, and other planners in migrations and movement or reconstruction.
- Communicates with management team regarding efficiency and accuracy as well as any progress and/or delays.
- Pilots applications to ensure performance and capacity plans meet expectations, including performing query writing and optimization.
- Coordinates with Information Security Office on assessing the risk of the database environments as needed and appropriate controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the information.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Salary Range$75,200.00 - $128,800.00 / Annually
The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
