Project Overview:Fab 62 is an advanced semiconductor fabrication facility for Intel Corporation, located at Intel's Ocotillo campus in Chandler, Arizona. As part of this work, the M&T team is responsible for delivering the engineering, procurement, and construction scope required to complete and finish-out a leading-edge chipmaking facility - a highly demanding environment where precision, cleanliness, schedule certainty, and coordination across thousands of craft and professional personnel are essential to success. The project supports the continued expansion of domestic semiconductor manufacturing capacity, contributing to a more resilient technology supply chain while creating significant opportunity for the local Arizona workforce. Job Summary:In this role, you will direct and organize direct hire work including planning, safety, quality and technical activities on a complex project. As field supervision you will ensure direct hire work is planned to coincide with the overall project schedule, work methods are executed safely with quality, and the work is within budget. #LI-CL1
Major Responsibilities:- Supervise and ensure all work is executed safely.
- Enforces policies, procedures and related work rules as established by field construction management.
- Coordinates all tools, materials, and equipment are available as required for a safe, efficient, and quality installation.
- Supervise and ensure direct hire work is planned to coincide with the overall schedule and budget.
- Monitors installation of materials and equipment to assure conformance with drawings, specifications, vendor, and other requirements
- Supports Construction Field Engineers, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting Engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents
- Coordinates engineering solutions with Field Engineering and Craft Professionals.
Education and Experience Requirements:- Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience [OR] 12-14 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
Required Knowledge and Skills:- Owns safe, high-quality piping execution with expert knowledge of piping installation, welding, NDE, hydrotesting, flushing, reinstatement, and turnover, with strict adherence to specs and codes.
- Drives piping work using AWP-plans by system and test boundary, manages constraints, sequences supports -> install -> weld -> test -> reinstate, and protects system completions.
- Leads piping Craft Professional, sets production targets, enforces standards, resolves field issues quickly, and develops Craft Professional Field Supervisors.
- Controls productivity and rework, understands weld rates, spool readiness, material flow, and fit-up quality; attacks bottlenecks before they hit schedule or cost.
- Integrates across disciplines by coordinating with structural, mechanical, electrical, and commissioning to avoid clashes, enable access, and support clean turnover.
