Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field.
• Professional Engineer license required.
• 10+ years of related experience in a consulting engineering firm or operating company.
• Experience as project engineer for intrastate and interstate pipeline projects.
• Experience with permitting processes - FERC 7c, Corp of Engineers 404.
• Proximity to HGA office locations in Lexington, KY, Birmingham, AL, Ruston, LA, or Monroe, LA.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and guide a team of less experienced engineers.
• Serve as lead engineer on various pipeline projects.
• Define project scopes, goals, and deliverables.
• Assist in pipeline design, routing, and workspace layout.
• Perform calculations related to pipeline design.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulatory requirements.
• Manage resource allocation for assigned tasks.
• Monitor and report on project progress.
• Ensure designs meet quality assurance standards.
• Coordinate with drafting resources to develop deliverables.
• Track and report project changes to the Project Manager.
• Assist in proposal development.
