Essential Responsibilities:
- Execute shutdown and turnaround piping scopes, including maintenance, repairs, replacements, and system tie-ins
- Provide daily leadership, direction, and support to Journeyperson and Apprentice Pipefitters
- Forecast, coordinate, and oversee preventative maintenance requirements
- Ensure the safety of the crew, equipment, and work environment
- Adapting to changing priorities in a time-sensitive environment
- Daily paperwork and conduct daily toolbox talks
- Maintain high productivity and quality during extended shifts and compressed timelines
- Maintain and update maintenance schedules, tracking systems, and documentation to ensure accurate record-keeping and effective planning
- Coordinate and communicates with the other Foreman and Supervision to ensure the correct sequencing of operations
- Trains, supports, and offers guidance to new employees
- Inspects work fronts regularly and ensures schedules are followed
Qualifications:
- Registered Journeyperson Pipefitter certification
- 3-5 years previous experience in a foreman role
- Proven experience in shutdowns, turnarounds, or outage maintenance in oil & gas or heavy industrial environments
- Strong ability to read and interpret isometric drawings and P&IDs
- Experience working on time-sensitive, schedule-driven projects with shifting priorities
- Ability to work 10-12+ hour shifts, overtime, and consecutive days during shutdowns
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and procedural compliance
