À quoi ressemblera votre quotidien ?

  • Assurer les fonctions de commandant de bord sur les aéronefs de l’entreprise selon des horaires et des destinations variables, conformément aux normes et règlements applicables du RAC 604.

  • Assumer les fonctions de premier officier lorsque requis.

  • Travailler selon des horaires et des quarts de travail variables pouvant être modifiés en fonction des besoins opérationnels, y compris des périodes de disponibilité sur appel.

  • Effectuer, au besoin, certaines tâches administratives légères liées aux opérations aériennes et au bon fonctionnement du service.

  • Maintenir en tout temps les certifications et qualifications de type d’aéronef exigées par l’entreprise.

Qu’est-ce qu’il vous faut pour réussir?

  • Détenir une licence canadienne valide de pilote de ligne (ATPL) ainsi qu’un certificat médical de catégorie 1 valide.

  • Posséder un minimum de 3 500 heures de vol, dont au moins 500 heures à titre de commandant de bord (PIC) sur des aéronefs multimoteurs de grande taille.

  • Être citoyen canadien et détenir un passeport canadien valide.

  • Être admissible à l’obtention d’une cote de sécurité en matière de transport ainsi qu’au programme CANPASS.

  • Répondre aux exigences de la TSA (Transportation Security Administration) pour suivre une formation aux États-Unis.

  • Démontrer d’excellentes compétences en gestion des ressources de l’équipage (CRM), en communication et en relations interpersonnelles.

  • Faire preuve de flexibilité quant aux horaires de travail variables.

  • Être capable d’assumer les responsabilités de commandant de bord, notamment en matière de prise de décision, de planification, d’établissement des priorités et de prestation d’un service professionnel, courtois et axé sur la clientèle auprès des employés et des passagers.

  • Posséder une solide connaissance des systèmes de gestion de la sécurité (SGS/SMS) et une expérience démontrée dans l’application et le respect de leurs exigences.

  • Ce poste s’inscrit dans un milieu de travail francophone, néanmoins il nécessite une très bonne connaissance de l’anglais pour lire et comprendre, sur une base quotidienne, de la documentation et des termes techniques qui peuvent émaner d’organisations internationales, ainsi que pour écrire et communiquer en anglais avec des clients, des fournisseurs ou des collègues internationaux.

Job Title : Corporate Pilot, Captain

This is a full-time position based in Saint-Hubert and performed exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?

  • Perform the duties of Pilot-in-Command on company aircraft on a variable schedule and destinations as per CAR 604 standards and regulations.

  • Serve as SIC on flights.

  • Varied and changing work schedules and shifts, which may include on-call demands.

  • As a corporate pilot, you may be asked to achieve light administrative tasks and functions related to the operation.

  • Maintain aircraft type ratings/qualifications as required by the company.

What do you need to be successful?

  • Hold a valid Canadian ATPL and a Class 1 Medical

  • Minimum of 3500 hours total flying time with 500 hours PIC on Large multi-engine aircraft.

  • Must be a Canadian Citizen with a valid Canadian Passport.

  • Must have the ability to obtain a Transportation Security Clearance and CANPASS.

  • Must be able to meet TSA requirements for training in the USA.

  • Must have excellent CRM, communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Flexibility to work variable schedule hours.

  • Ability to execute the duties of an aircraft commander, as well as decisive decision -making, planning, prioritization and provide positive, courteous service to all staff and passengers.

  • Knowledgeable and experienced working and complying with an established SMS.

  • This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
