PI Project Manager - Health System Engineering Summary:
Have a key and strategic operating role to the organizational leadership and plays an important role in the achievement of the overall success of BayCare Health System.
Works with teams to execute improvements to simplify methods, process flows, and workplace layouts using proven industrial engineering techniques and building computer simulation models where appropriate to test new designs.
Also perform data analysis using advanced statistical, operations research and industrial engineering methods.
Essential functions include data collection, standards and process design, discrete event simulation modeling, performance monitoring and reporting, and project management.
Minimum Qualifications:
Required Education: Master Degree in Industrial Engineering, Human Factors, Operations Research, or closely related field.
PhD preferred
Required Certification: Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Practitioner or PMP (Project Management).
Required Experience:
5 years Industrial Engineering or 2 Years in a Health Care Engineering capacity;
and 1 year experience with discrete event simulation modeling.
