Description

Western Missouri Medical Center is seeking a talented, engaged, and patient-centered Internal Medicine Physician to join our collaborative team in a unique hybrid role that combines outpatient primary care with inpatient hospital medicine. This position offers the opportunity to build long-term relationships with patients in the clinic while also providing inpatient care in a community hospital setting. Practice Details
  • Combination of outpatient Internal Medicine clinic and inpatient hospital medicine.
  • Typical outpatient schedule includes approximately 36 patient contact hours per week, with dedicated inpatient coverage built into the physician schedule.
  • Daytime inpatient responsibilities only, with seamless handoff to the nocturnist each evening.
  • Shared 1:3 call rotation.
  • Robust ancillary services including laboratory, imaging, rehabilitation, care management, and specialty support located on campus.
