Job Summary
The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, is seeking a faculty member at open-rank with a specialty in sleep medicine and pulmonary, critical care. Our division offers the full scope of inpatient and outpatient services involving the diagnostic evaluation and clinical management of respiratory disorders.
This position will provide hospital-based clinical services for patients cared for at Chandler and Good Samaritan Hospitals and the Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine division's clinical service and sleep medicine at the UK HealthCare Sleep Center. This position will have clinic duties as well as read sleep studies. Clinical service responsibilities will be divided among assignments caring for the critically ill in our Medical Intensive Care units (MICU) in the UK HealthCare hospitals, and managing patients in outpatient clinics. this position will be involved with teaching pulmonary fellows, residents and students during consult service and inpatient services and participation in the Department's courses for medical students.
