Physician - Obstetrics & GynecologyPosition SummaryJoin Asante Medical Group as an OB-GYN Physician and make a meaningful difference in the health of women and families across Southern Oregon. This position provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including prenatal care, labor and delivery, postpartum care, preventive health, gynecologic services, and surgical and procedural care. You'll work alongside a collaborative interdisciplinary team within AMG, Southern Oregon's largest provider-based medical group, with approximately 350 physicians and advanced practice providers across 30 locations.
Position Qualifications Education - Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Successful completion of an accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program
Experience- Experience practicing the full scope of Obstetrics and Gynecology preferred.
- Demonstrated competency in prenatal care, labor and delivery, postpartum care, gynecologic care, and operative/procedural OB-GYN care appropriate to granted privileges.
- Current knowledge of evidence-based practices in obstetrics, gynecology, and women's health.
License/Certification - Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Current unrestricted Oregon physician license or ability to obtain Oregon licensure prior to beginning clinical practice required. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology; board certification must be obtained within five (5) years of completion of residency.
- Must meet Asante Medical Staff credentialing requirements and be eligible for appropriate Obstetrics and Gynecology clinical privileges.
- BLS and additional certifications required based upon assigned clinical responsibilities and privileges.
