West Virginia University Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute and the Department of Neurology in the WVU School of Medicine are seeking a Neuromuscular specialist (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Morgantown, WV.
Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the area of neuromuscular neurology. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. Successful candidate must have completed neurology residency program as well as neuromuscular fellowship program. Successful candidates must be board certified / eligible in neurology and neuromuscular neurology. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

WVU Neurology has an active multidisciplinary ALS clinic and the only MDA clinic in West Virginia. The Department of Neurology offers patients a full spectrum of innovative therapies for neurologic disease, including stroke, epilepsy, neuromuscular diseases, headache, immunology, and movement disorders. WVU is a Joint Commission approved Comprehensive Stroke Center and Level IV Epilepsy Center.
