Full Job Description
The Department of Cancer Care Services at Corewell Health West (CHW) seeks a visionary, inspirational leader to serve in the inaugural role of Director, Corewell Health Oncology Institute for Research (CHOIR). This position offers the unique opportunity to grow and expand our research program while working towards NCI designation grant.

The Director will focus on creating a robust, clinical trial portfolio supporting CHW patient population and furthering scientific and clinical discovery and catalyze the operational expansion of the program including recruitment and retention of faculty and staff.

The successful Director will bring expertise in cancer research, including strategic program assessment and process development to support efficient trial activation and expansion. The Director will be a collaborative and visionary leader of teams as well as a strong clinician and investigator. Candidates must possess an MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent from an accredited school of medicine, be board certified in an oncology specialty.
