Physician - Hospital Medicine - Nocturnist

Qualifications

• Board Eligible/Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with inpatient experience.
• Current California state license preferred.
• Experience in a hospital setting, particularly with admissions and patient management.
• Strong collaborative skills for working in a small community hospital environment.
• Ability to handle a moderate patient load efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Admit and manage patients in a 94-bed facility with a closed ICU.
• Collaborate with a team of physicians and intensivists for patient care.
• Participate in daily rounds and patient evaluations.
• Ensure timely and effective communication with nursing and support staff.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives as part of the hospital's commitment to excellence.
