Responsibilities

  • Manage patient encounters averaging 20-30 per day during shifts.
  • Float to additional urgent care locations as needed.
  • Cover weekend shifts as part of a flexible schedule.
  • Utilize a fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC) for documentation.
  • No on-call duties required.

Job Overview

Physician Assistant to join our primary care practice at M Health Fairview Urgent Care Clinics. Join our growing practice seeing patients at our eleven urgent care locations in the Minneapolis-St Paul area and surrounding suburbs.

Practice Details:
  • Join our team of 45+ urgent care providers.
  • Our Maplewood location is our primary need at this time, with the potential to float to additional sites.
  • Patient encounters average 20-30 patients per day in a 10 hour shift.
  • Flexible FTE from .6 to 1.0 - Flexible schedule, weekend coverage is most needed. For a 1.0 FTE, total annual requirement of 1,664 hours total.
  • No Call required.
  • As a Pioneer Accountable Care Organization (ACO), our physicians use a multidisciplinary team approach in managing clinical care.
  • Fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC).

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • BC/BE through NCCPA.
  • Licensed or ability to obtain a PA license with prescriptive authority through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice.
  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
  • Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges (if required).

*Additional Qualifications*
  • At least 2 years of previous Urgent Care, Primary Care, ER, or Hospitalist experience as a Physician Assistant.

The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills,knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Positions withthe same min/max are flat rate jobs based on 40 hours/week. Compensation plans based on production can allow for higher pay than the range posted.
