Full Job Description
Providence Medical Group Women's Services in Everett, Washington is looking for a surgical physician assistant to join its OBGYN surgery team. The ideal candidate would be an enthusiastic team player who is comfortable working with multiple physicians in an inpatient and outpatient setting. Being flexible to change, having a willingness to learn, excellent interpersonal communication and critical thinking skills are also highly desired.   • Patient management will include gynecological surgery, minimally invasive/laparoscopic and robotic surgery.
  • Perform patient histories and physical exams in the office and hospital setting: new patients, follow ups, pre/post ops, consults
  • Handle daily patient rounds, inpatient/outpatient education, daily documentation, and discharge summaries
  • Order and interpret appropriate medications and diagnostic tests such as routine laboratory, x-rays, ultrasound, CT scans, etc.
  • Monitor and manage patients' course of treatment and make/coordinate appropriate referrals as needed
  • Monday to Friday schedule
  • No call
  • Compensation is between $135,890 and $180,253 per year
  • The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them
