Summary

Mercy Medical Center is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP/NP) to join our growing Dermatology team. The provider will deliver high-quality dermatologic care to patients in Baltimore and potentially at outreach clinics throughout surrounding Maryland counties. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with board-certified dermatologists in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive dermatologic evaluations and assessments for patients of all ages
  • Diagnose and treat common dermatologic conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, skin infections, and skin cancers
  • Conduct dermatologic procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions, and lesion removals within scope of practice
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Educate patients on treatment options, skincare, preventative care, and follow-up recommendations
  • Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with Maryland state regulations and clinical protocols
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records documentation
  • Collaborate closely with supervising physicians
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings
  • Travel periodically to satellite locations in surrounding counties as needed

Salary Information

Compensation decisions are made in alignment with internal equity, role scope, and market data to ensure fair and consistent pay practices. Most new hires are typically placed within the lower to mid-portion of the range; offers above that level are reserved for candidates with advanced or highly specialized qualifications.
