Full Job Description

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Emergency Medicine team.

We are looking for candidates with an interest in Emergency Medicine and/or Urgent Care who are open to supporting a variety of clinical settings.

Our practice includes a Level II Trauma Center and provides medical oversight for both ground and air emergency transport services. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed an Emergency Medicine fellowship and/or hold a certificate of advanced qualification in Emergency Medicine with comfort in seeing patients of all ages: pediatrics and adults. However, all candidates with a strong interest in Emergency Medicine and professional growth will be considered.

Candidates with experience and proficiency in bedside and advanced emergency procedures, including airway management, orthopedic reductions, laceration repair, incision and drainage, and other emergency interventions, are highly desired. Training and mentorship opportunities are available for motivated candidates looking to expand their skills.

Position placement may include opportunities within La Crosse Emergency Services, Regional Emergency Services, and/or Urgent Care locations. Final practice location and coverage expectations will be determined based on candidate experience, operational needs, and individual interests.

Must have completed an accredited program and be eligible to obtain a license to practice in our multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations.  Advanced practice clinicians work under the direct supervision of a physician.  Clinician staff may need to provide outreach service as part of their role in the system.  Teaching students, residents, fellows or clinical staff is cornerstone to our Medical Education philosophy and an expectation of all clinicians.
