DescriptionAn Allergist/Immunologist is a specialized medical doctor responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing allergic and immunologic conditions for pediatric and adult patients.
Core Responsibilities- Evaluate, Diagnose & Treat: Conduct allergy testing, physical examinations and/or procedures including FeNo and spirometry.
- Testing: Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, allergy shots, and lab studies.
- Patient Education: Advise patients on managing allergies and asthma effectively. Focusing on prevention and lifestyle modification.
Key Qualifications & Requirements- Education: A medical degree (MD or DO) followed by the completion of a allergy/immunology fellowship program.
- Licensing: Must possess an active, unrestricted medical license in the state of Minnesota
- Board Certification: Board Eligible or Board Certified in Allergy & Immunology
