Job Details
The Inpatient Physical Therapist Assistant provides acute care services to cardiac, orthopedic, neurologic, vascular, pulmonary and medical-surgical patients as a vital member of a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Physical Therapy treatments of patients
- Education of patients and family members
- Work with an interdisciplinary team for individualized care and transition planning
Requirements:
- NYS Physical Therapist Assistant license/registration required
- Completed a two-year college program for physical therapist assistants. The program must be a New York State Registered Physical Therapist Assistant Program or CAPTE/APTA Accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- 1-2 years of inpatient experience preferred
- BLS required within 60 days of hire
Posted Salary RangeUSD $44.72 - USD $44.72 /Hr.
