You'll help residents work through mobility challenges, using individualized treatment to support recovery and greater independence in their daily routines.
What You'll Do- Assess residents' strength, balance, and functional movement
- Establish measurable goals and develop physical therapy plans
- Provide gait training, transfer practice, and therapeutic exercises
- Teach residents and caregivers techniques for safer mobility
- Review progress, update treatment, and document care
- Coordinate recommendations with nursing and the rehab team
