Qualifications

• Graduate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Current Texas state license and CPR certification required.
• Capability to create and implement outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation treatment plans or a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in an efficient manner.
• Basic PC skills, including familiarity with EMR systems, database software, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to create tailored treatment plans based on evaluations.
• Provide direct patient care according to established protocols and guidelines.
• Document patient progress and provide instructions to patients and caregivers.
• Oversee care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
• Develop a comprehensive written plan of care with achievable goals.
• Implement physical therapy treatment programs effectively.
• Communicate with patients, caregivers, and professionals, including physicians and insurers.
