Practice Somewhere You Want to Build a LifeMesa isn't a compromise - it's a base camp. The Sonoran Desert has a way of reframing what an after-work Tuesday looks like: Superstition Mountains trails out the door, the Salt River for a float on a Saturday, and Sedona just far enough away to feel like a real escape. The Grand Canyon South Rim and Flagstaff ski are both easy day trips. For a PT who wants outdoor access without the mountain town price tag, the East Valley delivers in a way that's hard to argue with.
And the city itself is moving. Mesa is Arizona's third-largest and one of the fastest-growing cities in the country - which means affordable housing, a real food and culture scene, and an economic foundation anchored by names like Intel, Apple, and Boeing. It's the kind of place that used to be a secret and is quickly becoming the thing people brag about moving to. If you've been waiting for the right job in the right place, the desert might be it.
Many therapists move here for the lifestyle-and stay for the
career growth, community, and mentorship opportunities. This is a place where you can practice hands-on PT, take ownership of your patients, and develop into a future clinic leader while building the life you love.
About On the Mend Physical TherapyOn the Mend Physical Therapy has been part of the Mesa community since 2006 - not as a corporate branch, but as something built from the ground up by a clinician who chose to invest here. Founder Katrina started with home health contracts and grew the practice into a trusted East Valley institution over nearly two decades. That kind of history means something: patients know this clinic, physicians know this clinic, and the community keeps coming back. A PT joining On the Mend isn't filling a slot - they're stepping into a practice with real roots and a founder who's still in it.
The clinical environment reflects the same intentionality. Katrina holds a Certified Lymphedema Therapist designation alongside dry needling and functional capacity evaluation certs - a credential stack that signals a clinically serious setting and a genuine mentorship opportunity for PTs with specialty interests beyond standard outpatient ortho.
You'll join a team where mentorship is part of the job, collaboration is real, and professional growth is encouraged. Our clinics consistently rank
in the top tier nationally for patient outcomes, and we prioritize creating a work environment where you can thrive both professionally and personally.
