Stern at Home Therapy is hiring full-time Physical Therapists to provide one-on-one care to patients throughout Manhattan - with established caseloads already built on both the East Side and West Side, so you can create an efficient schedule with minimal travel between visits. What You'll Do
- Evaluate and treat a primarily geriatric caseload in patients' homes throughout Manhattan
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans with full clinical autonomy
- Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, safety, and overall function
- Complete accurate, timely clinical documentation
- Communicate with patients, families, physicians, and the clinical team
- Coordinate with our administrative team on scheduling and logistics
- Manage your caseload according to your own availability and chosen employment structure
Compensation Options
We're prioritizing full-time hires, but will consider part-time or PRN candidates with strong availability.
Full-Time Salary:
Full-Time 1099 (Tiered Contractor):
- $70-$80 per follow-up visit, increasing as you move up the tiered structure
- $85 per 4-unit evaluation
- Earning potential up to $145,000/year based on visit volume
Full-Time W-2 (Tiered Per-Visit):
- $55-$70 per follow-up visit, increasing as you move up the tiered structure
- $75 per 4-unit evaluation
Part-Time (W-2):
- $65 per follow-up visit
- $75 per 4-unit evaluation
PRN:
- $72 per 4-unit follow-up visit
- $85 per evaluation

Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist license in New York
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently in a home-based setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Home health experience
- Strong clinical, communication, and time-management skills
- Full-time availability preferred; part-time or PRN candidates with strong availability will also be considered
