Physical Therapist Monday-Friday PT Position

Vero Beach, FL

We have an opening for an experienced Outpatient Physical Therapist in an orthopedic physical therapy office.

Pay: $88K-$95K/year, based on experience
Hours: 9 AM-5 PM, Monday through Friday
Caseload: About 1-2 patients per hour
Employment: Full-Time

The Role

This is a hands-on PT position working with patients who need help recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgery, pain, and movement restrictions.

You'll see patients through different stages of recovery. Some may be starting therapy after surgery, while others may be ready to work on higher-level strength, balance, or return-to-activity goals.

You'll be responsible for evaluating the patient, deciding what treatment is appropriate, and updating the plan as their needs change.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Perform physical therapy evaluations
  • Treat orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
  • Create individualized plans of care
  • Guide patients through therapeutic and functional exercises
  • Work on strength, flexibility, balance, range of motion, and mobility
  • Perform manual techniques when clinically indicated
  • Track patient progress during the course of treatment
  • Update exercises and treatment goals as needed
  • Provide instructions for home exercises
  • Complete timely clinical notes and progress reports

Requirements
  • Active PT license
  • DPT or MSPT degree
  • Prior outpatient experience
  • Orthopedic physical therapy experience preferred
