Most physical therapists spend their careers delivering care inside systems they did not build.

A small number want more.
They want to lead.
They want to build.
They want to understand how a great clinic actually grows.
They want to develop people, drive performance, and create something meaningful, without taking on the personal financial risk of starting from scratch.

That is what this role is built for.
Competitive Edge Physical Therapy is opening a new clinic in Scottsdale/Greater Phoenix Area and hiring a Founding Clinic Director to lead it.

This is not a traditional clinic director position. It is a chance to launch and grow a clinic inside an established company with proven systems, centralized support, and a serious expansion vision.

You will lead the clinic locally while our team supports the infrastructure behind it with marketing, sales, operations, systems, finance, and strategic guidance.

Who this is For
This role is for a PT who is:

• ambitious enough to want more than a clinical job
• excited by leadership, growth, and accountability
• interested in business, not just patient care
• motivated by building a team and growing a location
• ready to become the kind of leader who can scale with a company

If you've ever thought, "I want to build something bigger, but I don't want to take on all the startup risk alone," this may be the opportunity.

What Makes this Different
Most PT leadership roles are just heavier caseloads with more admin work. We've designed this role to be different with intentional focus on growth, impact, business skills, and progression towards a skilled operator leader not just a busy clinician.

You will learn how to:

• lead and develop a team
• grow a clinic strategically
• understand financial performance and profitability
• build referral and community relationships
• improve conversion and client experience
• create accountability and a high-performance culture
• operate a clinic as a business, not just a treatment schedule

You won't be doing it unsupported. You'll be backed by a centralized team and a company already proving the model across multiple locations.

What You'll Do

• Launch and lead a new Competitive Edge Physical Therapy location
• Build and maintain a strong client caseload
• Create an exceptional client experience and clinical standard
• Mentor and develop clinicians and team members
• Build local relationships and community presence
• Drive clinic growth, team performance, and profitability
• Help execute the long-term vision of the company as we scale
