Full Job Description
We are currently seeking a full-time PT to support the William Breman Jewish Home in Buckhead/Atlanta 30327. Whether skilled or just starting out, we can support your career desires. This is also a great opportunity for a newly grad Physical Therapist as we have onsite mentorship available.
The ideal PT will have a love for the aging and desire to work in post-acute, skilled, and outpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts, plan of care, and company policies
• Help optimize functional mobility, independence, and quality of life for members of the aging population
• Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner
• Participate in required orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education
• In collaboration with the Director of Rehabilitation, develop robust therapy program
• Provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants as indicated
• Follow all infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and effectively prioritize patient care
• Support compliance with all state and federal regulations
• Perform duties that may involve moderate to heavy physical demands
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
• Current or eligible Physical Therapist license in the state of practice
• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program
• If foreign-trained, degree must be evaluated as equivalent to U.S. entry-level PT education by an APTA-approved credentialing agency
