Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Marlborough Hills Rehabilitation & Health Care Center

Location: Marlborough, Massachusetts

Job Summary:

We are seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic care team at Marlborough Hills Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Marlborough, Massachusetts. As a PTA, you will assist in the provision, collection of assessment data, and direct treatment to a general rehab caseload under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist.

Shift is 8a-4p. Weekly pay up to $40 an hour.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the provision of physical therapy services to patients/residents with a wide range of diagnoses and conditions
  • Perform treatment in accordance with an established plan of care, under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist
  • Document patient/resident activities and progress in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Consult with and train patients, residents, and caregivers
  • Monitor efficiencies and collaborate with supervisor to improve processes
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and maintain current knowledge of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations
  • Demonstrate ability for continuous new learning to remain current in the field

Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program
  • Current licensure by the applicable state agency where required
  • CEU's per state licensure requirements
  • Prior clinical experience preferred but not required
  • New graduates welcome!
