Job Summary:We are seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic care team at Marlborough Hills Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Marlborough, Massachusetts. As a PTA, you will assist in the provision, collection of assessment data, and direct treatment to a general rehab caseload under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist.
Shift is 8a-4p. Weekly pay up to $40 an hour.
Responsibilities:- Assist in the provision of physical therapy services to patients/residents with a wide range of diagnoses and conditions
- Perform treatment in accordance with an established plan of care, under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist
- Document patient/resident activities and progress in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Consult with and train patients, residents, and caregivers
- Monitor efficiencies and collaborate with supervisor to improve processes
- Participate in quality improvement activities and maintain current knowledge of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations
- Demonstrate ability for continuous new learning to remain current in the field
Requirements:- Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program
- Current licensure by the applicable state agency where required
- CEU's per state licensure requirements
- Prior clinical experience preferred but not required
