Full Job Description
Makwa Global is assembling a high-performance assessment team for a forthcoming 5-year IMCOM Higher Headquarters Assessment (HHA) contract. The Physical Security (PS) Lead will serve as the senior subject matter expert for all Physical Security program assessment requirements and will oversee the PS workstream across multiple CONUS and OCONUS installations.

The PS Lead will ensure all assessment activities align with Department of Defense (DoD) benchmarks, Army and Combatant Command directives, IMCOM policies, and mission assurance standards. This role is central to delivering comprehensive Holistic Health Assessments (HHAs) across IMCOM installations.

Responsibilities

The PS Lead shall:
  • Lead and oversee the physical security assessment portion of the Holistic Health Assessment (HHA) at assigned Army installations.
  • Evaluate installation protection programs against DoD, Army, COCOM, Service Component Command, and IMCOM standards.
  • Assess Physical Security and all related protection domains as they intersect with HHAs, including:

o Mission Assurance

o Risk Management

o Antiterrorism

o Emergency Management

o CBRNE

o Continuity of Operations (COOP)

o Communications & Network Infrastructure Security

o Cybersecurity

o Supporting Infrastructure

o Operations Security (OPSEC)

o Provide expert findings, compliance observations, and recommendations to improve installation protection posture.

o Support the development, review, and delivery of final reports, CAPs (Corrective Action Plans), and project-level briefings.

o Coordinate with installation stakeholders, higher headquarters, and assessment team members to ensure accuracy, completeness, and mission relevance.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience supervising DoD Military Police plans and operations at the installation level.
  • Extensive DoD Physical Security experience (installation, command, or enterprise-level).
  • Demonstrated experience conducting Protection Program compliance assessments or inspections.
  • Active Secret Clearance.


Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline (required).
  • Completion of a DoD Physical Security formal course or equivalent experience/certification.
  • Completion of DoD Military Police formal training or equivalent experience/certification.


Travel Requirements
  • Up to 29 assessments per year, with an expected average of 20 HHAs annually.
  • Travel will include both CONUS and OCONUS locations.
  • Travel tempo varies by installation schedule and Government direction.
