Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesAs our Neurosurgery APP, you will join our dynamic healthcare team at St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, managing a wide variety of Neurosurgery cases, making a significant impact on their lives and families. You will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of our patients and their families within Franciscan Medical Group.
To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, board-certified, and compassionate Neurosurgery APP, possessing expertise in diagnosing and managing a wide range of neurosurgery cases, alongside strong communication abilities. You will also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient-centered care and the capacity to thrive within a collegial and supportive environment.
- This is a full-time (1.0FTE) NP/PA role to join our Neurosurgery group at St. Joe's Medical Center in Tacoma. The group consists of 5 physicians and 5 APP's.
- The weekly schedule is 4.5 days and is primarily inpatient based including first assist and hospital rounding.
- Call is shared equally amongst the APP's. Neurosurgeons take first call for consults.

Job RequirementsRequired- Certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) with prescriptive authority in the State of Washington.
- Minimum one year of Neurosurgery experience preferred
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
