Opportunity Overview

Photonics Field Product Specialist / Technical Pre-Sales

Teradyne is looking for a Photonics Field Product Specialist to join our Silicon Photonics Test business. You will work with engineering and field application engineers to develop strategic relationships with our customers.

  • Provide expert advice to customers, Sales, FAE's and support staff while working closely with sales/marketing management and product software/hardware staff to ensure that relevant technical information is promptly and accurately communicated.
  • Responsible for the mastering of Teradyne products, product applications and policies.
  • Develop, present, and respond to proposals for specific customer requirements.
  • Pinpoint customer challenges and suggest effective solutions.
  • Develop, coordinate and deliver product demonstrations which display the value of our solutions with prospects and clients.
  • Work closely with our customers to define projects, identify new opportunities and support existing sustainment activities.
  • Responsible for providing detailed communication regarding the application, sizing and competitive position of products.
  • Develop relationships with customers (as defined in account plan; focus on technical/operation decision makers).
  • Keep informed on competitors, industry news and trends, products services, relevant information about legacy, existing, emerging technologies, and the latest product-line development.

  • Minimum BSEE, BSCS or related field or equivalent work experience

Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $121,400-$194,200. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.

Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
