Description

The Department of Philosophy seeks to appoint a chairholder to the McMahon-Hank Professor of Philosophy. We welcome qualified applicants working in any subfield of Philosophy. Appointment to begin Fall Semester 2027. Rank: Full professor, endowed chair (tenured). AOS: Open. AOC: Open. Standard teaching load in the department is 2:1 (3 classes per academic year). Duties include teaching, research, and service. Salary competitive. Semester system.

Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Philosophy or a closely related field.
