About the Role

McKesson Pharmacy Systems (MPS) is looking for a Pharmacy Interface Certification Engineer to support and certify integrations across our EnterpriseRx platform and partner ecosystem. In this customer-facing role, you'll work with vendors, customers, and internal teams to onboard, test, troubleshoot, and deploy healthcare technology integrations.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, managing multiple integration projects, and working across both technical and business teams. Strong candidates bring experience supporting customer onboarding, implementation, or technical consulting activities. You'll play a key role in ensuring interfaces are successfully implemented, validated, and ready for production use.

What You'll Do
  • Lead interface certification projects from onboarding through production deployment.
  • Test, validate, and troubleshoot APIs, interfaces, and healthcare data transactions.

Minimum Education & Typical Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Typically requires 4+ years of relevant professional experience.


Required Skills & Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in systems integration, interface certification, implementation, API support, or a related technical field.
  • Experience working with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, and integration testing tools.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
  • Experience troubleshooting system integrations, interfaces, and data transactions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders simultaneously.


Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Experience working with healthcare or pharmacy technology platforms.
  • Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, NCPDP Script, or NCPDP Telecommunications standards.
  • Exposure cloud-based integration environments, Postman, SoapUI, or similar testing and certification tools.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled tools that improve troubleshooting, testing, or operational efficiency.
