Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacy from an accredited institution; advanced degree preferred.
• 1+ years of experience as a registered pharmacist in a hospital setting preferred.
• Current Florida pharmacist license or eligibility for licensure in Florida.
• Strong knowledge of medication therapy management and drug-related information.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Fill and dispense medication orders, ensuring proper handling and storage of drugs.
• Maintain departmental standards and implement policies in daily pharmacy operations.
• Act as an information resource for patients and healthcare professionals regarding medication therapy.
• Plan and organize the work schedule for pharmacy personnel as needed.
• Optimize patient medication therapy under the guidance of the Clinical Coordinator and Pharmacy Director.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve patient care goals.
• Engage in specialty areas such as infectious disease, oncology, and medication safety.
