Job SummaryThe inpatient hospital pharmacist reviews, prepares, and dispenses medications safely while serving as a key clinical resource. You will monitor drug therapy for efficacy, prevent adverse interactions, and supervise supportive staff to ensure total operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in clinical consultations, medication reconciliation, and provider rounds.
- Review and verify provider orders for accuracy, safety, and therapeutic appropriateness.
- Monitor patient medication therapies for optimal clinical efficacy and safety.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain strict regulatory compliance.
Qualifications- Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or BS in Pharmacy.
- License: Current, unencumbered Missouri Board of Pharmacy State License (or eligible to sit for licensure).
- Experience: Open to both New Graduates and experienced clinical pharmacists.
- Requirements: Annual influenza vaccination is required.
