Position Summary
Interior Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy Department at Kootenay Lake Hospital in Nelson, BC. If Pharmacy is your passion and you are a reliable, flexible and motivated individual interested in working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, apply today!

About the Job
Pharmacists are at the forefront of healthcare, providing essential pharmacy services. Duties include interpreting medication orders and prescriptions, assessing therapeutic suitability, and ensuring medications are efficiently and accurately dispensed, compounded, and labeled.
You will communicate with healthcare professionals and patients to resolve prescription issues, offer instructions on medication use, and participate in medication use evaluations, safety initiatives, quality control activities, and clinical drug trials. You will also ensure all activities comply with legal, professional, and departmental standards.

This is a Permanent Full Time (1.0) opportunity.

Shifts of work will be scheduled rotating day shifts.

* This position will provide coverage to Kootenay Lake Hospital in Nelson and Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital in Trail*
