Job Description
Position Overview: The Refined Fuel Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of petroleum delivery and distribution, ensuring safe, efficient, and customer-focused service. This role provides leadership and support to delivery drivers and other team members, assisting with sales, logistics, conflict resolution, and customer relations. You will play a key role in budgeting, strategic planning, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead long- and short-term planning, policy development, and operational objectives aligned with Keystone Cooperative’s goals.
Serve as a liaison between the company and vendors, distributors, patrons, and employees.
Assist in annual budgeting and regularly review financial performance to meet profitability targets.
Oversee facility operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Provide budget and planning support for facility needs, maintaining up-to-date operational information.
Hire, train, evaluate, and support direct reports, including those working remotely.
Communicate regularly with team members and customers, addressing issues and maintaining strong relationships.
Perform conflict management and resolution as needed.
Meet with direct reports when possible and manage those not in close proximity.
Coordinate programs related to safety, training, housekeeping, and cost control.
Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and compliance requirements.
Promote a positive work environment and deliver outstanding customer service.
Keep accurate and timely records of petroleum inventory, deliveries, and facility performance.
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong leadership and team management skills, including remote supervision.
Effective multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication across email, phone, and in-person formats.
Ability to travel frequently within the trade territory.
Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred but not mandatory.
Proficient in or able to learn accounting and industry-specific software.
Solid mathematical reasoning skills
Able to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions and solve problems with multiple variables.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.); and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee needs to be able to regularly lift more than 50 pounds, climb ladders, perform preventive maintenance activities, and perform other physical duties necessary in running a Keystone location. Employee will regularly be required to walk, stand, lift, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, handle, feel and grasp.
