People Services Manager - Eastern Airlines

Position Overview

The People Services Manager at Eastern Airlines leads core human resources functions that support a safe, compliant, and high-performance aviation workforce. This role focuses on employee relations, HR compliance, performance management, policy development, compensation support, and organizational culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Relations - Serve as the primary HR contact for employee concerns, investigations, conflict resolution, and corrective action processes.
  • Performance Management - Lead annual review cycles, coach leaders on performance issues, and support leadership development initiatives.
  • HR Policy & Procedure Management - Maintain and update HR policies, employee handbooks, and standard operating procedures to ensure they align with airline operations.
  • Compensation & Administration - Support salary reviews, job evaluations, and employee leave programs.
  • Training & Compliance Support - Coordinate HR-related training (harassment prevention, leadership training, compliance modules) and partner with operational training teams.
  • Culture & Engagement - Drive initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, recognition, communication, and cross-department collaboration.
  • HR Data & Reporting - Maintain HRIS accuracy, track key HR metrics, and provide insights to leadership.
  • Regulatory Compliance - Ensure HR practices comply with FAA, DOT, OSHA, EEO, FMLA, ADA, and state labor laws; maintain documentation and audit readiness.
