employee relations, HR compliance, performance management, policy development, compensation support, and organizational culture.
Key Responsibilities- Employee Relations - Serve as the primary HR contact for employee concerns, investigations, conflict resolution, and corrective action processes.
- Performance Management - Lead annual review cycles, coach leaders on performance issues, and support leadership development initiatives.
- HR Policy & Procedure Management - Maintain and update HR policies, employee handbooks, and standard operating procedures to ensure they align with airline operations.
- Compensation & Administration - Support salary reviews, job evaluations, and employee leave programs.
- Training & Compliance Support - Coordinate HR-related training (harassment prevention, leadership training, compliance modules) and partner with operational training teams.
- Culture & Engagement - Drive initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, recognition, communication, and cross-department collaboration.
- HR Data & Reporting - Maintain HRIS accuracy, track key HR metrics, and provide insights to leadership.
- Regulatory Compliance - Ensure HR practices comply with FAA, DOT, OSHA, EEO, FMLA, ADA, and state labor laws; maintain documentation and audit readiness.

Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 5+ years of HR generalist or HR management experience; aviation or transportation industry experience strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
- Experience conducting investigations and managing employee relations matters.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-sensitive environment.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
- HR certifications (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) a plus.
