MD or DO degree with board certification in Pediatric Pathology
5-7 years of relevant pediatric pathology experience
Eligible for an active, unrestricted Ohio medical license
Board certification in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
Provide diagnostic services in pediatric pathology including surgical and autopsy cases
Engage in on-call services as needed
Collaborate with other pathologists and laboratory staff
Educate medical trainees at the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine
Participate in departmental meetings and quality improvement initiatives.

Facility: Dayton Children's - Main CampusDepartment: PathologySchedule: Full timeHours: 40Job Details: The Department of Pathology at Dayton Children's Hospital, is seeking to expand its faculty with a MD or DO board-certified pediatric pathologist. This is a full-time employed position and includes a comprehensive compensation and benefits package. In addition, all physicians hold faculty appointments with the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. The faculty member will work as a part of a collaborative team to include 2 additional pathologists, a pathology assistant, and a team of laboratorians. Department Specific Job Details:
The ideal candidate must possess Board certification in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology through the American Board of Pathology with subspecialty certification in Pediatric Pathology and minimum of 5 years' experience. Candidates must also be eligible for an active, unrestricted Ohio medical license. Primary service responsibilities will be in all shared areas of pediatric pathology (surgical, autopsy, biopsy, cytology and on-call services). The position is in-person/on-site.
