Job Details:Dayton Children's Hospital, a freestanding, independent, Level I trauma center children's hospital in Dayton, Ohio, is recruiting for a full-time Pediatric Palliative Care Physician Leader to serve as Division Chief of Pediatric Palliative Care. Department Specific Job Details:Position details include:- Dedicated Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with experience in pediatric palliative care
- Consultative inpatient and ambulatory care
- Home Care based program for patients nearing end-of-life
- Dedicated social work support
- Multi-disciplinary support from chaplain services, child life, and psychology
- Supportive and nurturing environment with staff and other subspecialties
Candidate Qualifications- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship,
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Hospice and Palliative Medicine
- Eligible for or able to obtain an unrestricted Ohio medical license
- MD or DO candidates will be considered.
- Demonstrated leadership ability or strong interest in program development and mentorship.
- Excellent communication skills and desire a long-term, stable leadership role
