About the Role

MiniMed is seeking a driven and collaborative PD Program Manager to lead cross-functional teams in the development and lifecycle management of our innovative products, processes, and therapies. In this role, you will oversee operational aspects of new product development initiatives from initiation through delivery. Acting as the critical link between project teams, line management, and key stakeholders, you will gather and manage requirements, drive stakeholder engagement, and develop solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
  • Lead and manage geographical expansion programs in close collaboration with Marketing, Regulatory, Technical Communications, and Operations teams to successfully launch products across global markets
  • Drive end-of-life program management, overseeing the strategic transition and replacement of legacy products within strict deadlines to ensure business continuity with minimal disruption to operations and customers
  • Leads or leverages cross functional teams to evaluate, develop and manage projects for new product development and ongoing lifecycle management of products, processes and therapies.
  • Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
  • Manages the development and implementation process of a company's products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products and processes.
  • Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
  • Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.
  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
  • Gathers requirements, works on requirements planning, requirements elicitation and requirements management to ensure they meet demands of project's key stakeholders.
  • Communicates with stakeholders, obtains stakeholder engagement to ensure the end products or processes will solve the business problems.


Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Engineering or other scientific or discipline and 5+ years experience in technical program management

OR

Advanced Degree in Engineering or other scientific or discipline and 3+ years experience in technical program management

Nice to Have:
  • Project Management Certification (PMP)
  • Experience in product development of drug delivery devices, preferably insulin delivery devices
  • Strong project management skills with experience effectively and efficiently executing against project contracts; knowledge of process and project planning best practices.
  • Experience in leading within matrix organizations requiring strong influence management skills
  • Influence management skills; experience working collaboratively at all levels in matrix environment to build and maintain the positive relationships required to accomplish organizational goals


The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$138,000.00 - $234,000.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Short Term Incentive (STI).
