About the Role:

As a PCIe Validation Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and functionality of our cutting-edge PCIe interfaces on new hardware platforms. Working under the guidance of senior engineers, you will gain hands-on experience with advanced lab equipment, develop your debugging skills, and contribute directly to the successful bring-up and validation of our next-generation silicon. What You'll Achieve:

  • Execute test plans to validate PCIe functionality, performance, and compliance across Gen3/4/5 on new silicon.
  • Assist in initial platform bring-up, debugging PCIe enumeration and link training issues.
  • Conduct initial debug and root cause analysis of PCIe failures, escalating complex issues.
  • Operate PCIe protocol analyzers, exercisers, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers for debug.
  • Run and assist in modifying automated test scripts and frameworks to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with design, firmware, and software teams to reproduce, resolve, and document issues.
  • Actively learn and develop expertise in advanced PCIe concepts and validation methodologies.


About you:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in post-silicon validation , with direct exposure to PCIe interfaces.
  • High-level working knowledge of PCIe protocols (preferably Gen 3/4/5).
  • Highly talented in C programming.
  • Strong HW debug and bring-up skills.
  • Practical experience setting up hardware in a lab environment.
  • Additional skills highly desired: Hands-on experience with Debug Tools (e.g., Oscilloscopes & Logic Analyzers). Data Analytics.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree & 5 years of related experience; or Master's degree & 3 years; or PhD & 0 years.
